Compass R&D activities

The purpose of this talk will be to give an overview of my background, and research efforts within the COMPASS lab at CRTB over the past 14 months. The primary goals of this talk will be to discuss (1) the current technical efforts in COMPASS and (2) how my specific research efforts relate to these projects. Both innovation and application lab support activities will be discussed. The primary topics of this talk will be ; chemical modification of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), IRIS-based solvent systems for CNT dispersion, surface characterization of conducting polymer thin films, small angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) analysis of accessible Platinum on carbon black for printable catalytic inks, high speed camera-based drift spray characterization, and compositional transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of Alumina-based Washcoat materials.
